It seems that Donald Glover has another series coming to the FX family, joining his hit series Atlanta — and it will be led by the merc with the mouth.
FXX, the sister channel to FX, has ordered from Glover 10 episodes of an untitled animated series starring Marvel’s Deadpool.
Set to debut in 2018, the action-comedy will be executively produced, ran, and written by Donald Glover and his brother Stephen Glover.
The presidnet of original progarmming at FX Networks, Nick Grad said:
“Donald Glover is an incredibly gifted and versatile artist who’ll bring the untitled Marvel’s Deadpool series to life with the same intense, singular vision as his breakout hit ‘Atlanta'”.
Glover, also known under his music moniker of Childish Gambino, will also be playing a young Lando Calrissian in the upcoming solo Han Solo Star Wars film, will appear in Spider-Man: Homecoming, and will voice Simba in the upcoming Lion King live-action remake.
